Description
An atmospheric device for scenario games styled on Fallout, Doomsday and similar.
It continues the story of the “Doomsday Vault”.
Originally, players had to retrieve “radioactive” flasks from vaults locked with a digital lock. To open the lock they had to hold the vault for a set time without letting the enemy take over. A “radioactive” flask removed from the vault emits “radiation” pulses with the familiar crackle of a Geiger counter, draining players’ “health”.
The “Pandora’s Box” game kit has three “vaults” and one “activator”. The three flasks must be brought to the “activator”, placed in their sockets and the activator started – the scenario now has a sequel.
Players must deliver the dangerous cargo to a set point, gather all three flasks and start the “Activator”, which can perform different functions depending on the scenario. The flasks might power a nuclear engine or an explosive device – or the “Activator” might neutralise dangerous radioactive or biological containers. It’s up to you. A good scenario writer can build a gripping game around these atmospheric props.
Once a flask is placed in the “Activator” it stops emitting “radiation” pulses – but only if inserted correctly. If the radiation continues, turn the flask upside down. Three correctly inserted flasks and the “Activator” starts!
It runs for a set time with sound and light effects. When the “Activator” finishes, that stage of the scenario is complete.
Housing material: metal and plastic.
In the box. Supplied as the “Pandora’s Box” game kit. The “Smart Li+” charger is not included; select the option or buy it separately.
