“Crater” Laser Tag Bomb – an upgraded version of the laser tag bomb. The “Crater” fights cheating, has a seven-segment display and comes in an impact-resistant housing.
The “Crater” uses contrasting colours to highlight important elements without distracting players with minor details – yet it’s still interesting to look at, with the signature font, product markings and LASERWAR logo adding to the overall impression.
The device has a black plastic housing. Lugs on the back cover let you mount it on a wall, which is handy and practical for indoor games.
The bomb is switched on with a key. Press and hold the red button for 3 seconds and “Fire” appears on the display – the device needs confirmation that the player planting the bomb is “alive”. Shooting the device starts the countdown to the explosion.
Defusing works the same way: hold the button for 5 seconds, confirm with a shot that you’re still alive, and the bomb is defused. If the player is “killed” while defusing, the countdown continues. No arguments about who hit whom or whether a player was alive.
